Renting a car in Baku is one of the best ways to explore Azerbaijan. Public transport is limited to the city, and taxis outside Baku can be expensive. Your own rental car gives you freedom to visit remote attractions, scenic routes and travel at your own pace.
Required Documents
- Passport — original, valid for the entire rental period
- Driving licence — national licence with at least 1 year of experience
- International Driving Permit — recommended for non-CIS citizens
- Age — minimum 21 years old
At Millicars, paperwork takes just 10-15 minutes. We don't require a credit card deposit — cash payment accepted.
How Much Does It Cost?
- Economy (Hyundai Accent, Chevrolet Spark) — from 30 AZN/day
- Comfort (Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra) — from 50 AZN/day
- Crossover (Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson) — from 65 AZN/day
- Business (Toyota Camry, Mercedes E-Class) — from 90 AZN/day
With long-term rental (31+ days), you save up to 30%. Browse our full car catalogue.
Insurance
Basic OSAGO insurance is included in the rental price. Comprehensive coverage (KASKO) is available as an add-on. We recommend KASKO if you plan road trips outside Baku — mountain roads require extra caution.
How to Pick Up Your Car
- Airport delivery — we deliver for free to the arrivals terminal
- Office pickup — K.Balakishiyev st. 3, Nizami district
Delivery anywhere in Baku is also free. The car is provided with a full tank and in clean condition.
What to Watch For
- Inspect the car at pickup — document any scratches in the handover report
- Check mileage limits — at Millicars, mileage is unlimited
- Verify the spare tyre and first aid kit
- Carry cash for fuel — not all petrol stations accept cards
- Read about driving rules in Azerbaijan before you start
